Ministry
Vision & Values
“And He gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God – to maturity and to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the Head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

Gospel-Centered Preaching and Teaching
God’s Word is the foundation and authority for everything we do at Trinity. For that reason, we are committed to faithfully preach and teach biblical truth to all ages, trusting God by the power of the Holy Spirit to equip and build up every person for the display of His glory and love. On Sunday mornings and at our mid-week Bible studies, we preach and teach expositionally through different passages and books of the Bible. Specifically, we examine the original meaning of the text, how it points to and reveals Christ, and how it speaks and applies to our lives today.

Corporate Worship
Ephesians 3:21; 5:19
Gospel-Centered Corporate Worship
We affirm from Scripture that true worship in the life of the believer means living every day for the praise and glory of God, and that the highest form of individual worship is obedience to Him and His Word. When we come together for corporate worship, we love singing “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” that are full of theological truth, exalt Jesus Christ, and focus our hearts and minds on the glory and majesty of God. Our music is a blend of old and new, and we use a variety of musical instruments to aid us in worship. We also intentionally include times of both corporate and personal prayer during our Sunday morning worship celebrations, Saturday evening prayer meetings, Sunday evening Praise and Prayer gatherings, and various other mid-week ministries and meetings.
Ephesians 4:7,11
Gospel-Centered Servant Leadership
We affirm from Scripture that each member of our church is graced by God with spiritual gifts which should be used to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and one another. Some among us are called to serve as “shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the Body of Christ.” Jesus lived among us as a humble servant leader, and we are called to emulate His attitude of humility in the way we serve Him and those around us.
Servant Leadership
Discipleship
Ephesians 4:12-13
Gospel-Centered Discipleship
Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” We affirm from Scripture that growth to maturity in Christ is a process that comes not only through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and worship, but also through intentional one-on-one disciplining relationships. We strive to be a church that is known for being a disciple-making and disciple-sending church.
Ephesians 4:14-16
Gospel-Centered Fellowship
We love to come together as a church family for the purpose of experiencing Gospel-centered fellowship with one other. We do this not only on Sunday mornings as part of our corporate worship and Sunday School classes, but also through our mid-week Bible studies, discipleship meetings, and other ministry gatherings, all of which encourage and nurture spiritual growth and biblical fellowship with other Trinity members and attenders. We also encourage members and attenders to meet together in homes once or twice a month to share a meal, pray together, and talk with one another about the Sunday morning sermon, focusing on ways they can apply and live out what they’ve learned and received from God’s Word.
Fellowship
Living
Ephesians 4:1-6:9
Gospel-Centered Living
The apostle Paul wrote, “I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness and patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one Body and one Spirit.” We understand from Scripture that we are not only called to know God’s Word, but also to apply and live it out in every relationship and aspect of our lives. For that reason, we are committed to disciplining and growing every child, student, and adult in our Trinity family to maturity in Christ, such that they daily exhibit the fruit of the Spirit to believers and non-believers alike.
Ephesians 3:20; 6:19-20
Gospel-Centered Evangelism and Missions
We wholeheartedly embrace our Lord’s Great Commission to “make disciples of all nations,” thereby advancing the Gospel to the ends of the earth. This includes joining Him in “bringing Good News to the poor, proclaiming captives will be released, recovery of sight to the blind, and that the oppressed will be set free.” To that end, we are committed to being a “sending church” that trains and equips all its members in sharing the Gospel with others. We are also committed to increasing our involvement in financially supporting, serving alongside, and partnering with a variety of local and international Gospel-centered ministries and mission agencies, to the praise and glory of God.

Mission Statement
The Gospel is the only hope for the world. As we read the Bible, God’s only inspired Word, we see the overarching themes of God’s providence, power, and provision to reconcile mankind and the created world to Himself through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our hope and desire at Trinity Community Church is to be intentionally and explicitly Gospel-centered in all that we preach, teach, and practice.
