“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus… I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in His own time.”
(I Timothy 6:11-15a)

Our Spring 2020 Study: 1 & 2 Samuel
The books of 1 & 2 Samuel chronicle a crucial transitional period in the history of Israel. As we journey from the authority of judges to the reign of kings, we’ll witness the dawn of a kingdom as first Saul, and then David are crowned kings over Israel. Though these kings ruled long ago, this rich history of their tragedies and triumphs points us again and again to Jesus, the only true King. We invite you to open God’s Word with us as we learn about the kings who fall short, the sin that reigns in our hearts, and the One True King who reigns in glory and saves His people!
