For Your Kids

Sunday School

Sunday School is available at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for children Preschool-6th Grade.

Preschoolers meet in the Preschool Room with a loving team of teachers ready to teach them God’s Word and point them to Jesus. In order to comply with the California Department of Health room capacity guidelines, we are asking parents to register their Preschooler in advance. This registration form will become live on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Click here to register!

Children Kindergarten – 4th Grade gather for a time of worship and engaging teaching, followed by outside play and then grade-specific small groups with devoted leaders ready to love and invest in your kids through object lessons, discussion, and prayer.

On Sunday, parents can check in their children with our Check-In Assistant outside on the Children’s Playground. Parents can check out their children with our Check-Out Assistant in the back hallway, entering through the north-east exterior door. We request that parents reserve their visiting time until after they pick up their children in order to allow our team the time needed to sanitize the space in between each group of kids.

5th/6th Grade Sunday School:
9:30: 5th/6th graders are invited to our new THRIVE Sunday School class that meets outside on the Poolside Lawn.
11:00: 5th/6th graders are invited to join our Sunday School class that meets in Room 117.

Midweek

Bible Study Kids

This semester in BSK, kids will learn about “Conversations with the King” through our study of the Psalms. Just as David and other authors of the Psalms poured their hearts out to God during times of joy, sorrow, worry, and praise, we too can converse with God through prayer. BSK resumes Jan. 14 and is available to children 1-year-old through 4th grade Thursday mornings (9:00-11:00) and evenings (6:30-8:30) during Sister-to-Sister. At BSK, your kids will memorize scripture, grow in their understanding of the Bible, and have lots of fun! Indicate your interest in bringing your child for BSK when you register for Sister-to-Sister, and a BSK registration link will be emailed to you. Register soon as space is limited and classes are filling up!

Special Needs

Heart of Jesus

Our desire is to make it possible for all families to worship at Trinity as part of the Body of Christ. Our model and goal is to integrate children with disability into our Sunday School classes whenever possible with a one-on-one, trained, background-checked “friend.” Our mission is to teach God’s Word to every child with the love of Jesus in whatever way is optimum for each child.

Please text Jan Joaquin at 930-9058 before first visit if possible or with any questions.

Sunday School Curriculum

Our curriculum is The Gospel Story for Kids, which is chronological, gospel-centered, and teaches the Word of God in an engaging manner. There are two opportunities for family follow up: Sword Bible Memory (each month’s memory verses) and the companion family devotionals (Old Story New – New Testament, and Long Story Short – Old Testament). Each week, kids preschool-6th grade learn from the same passage of Scripture each service, giving families one Bible lesson to follow up on.
