Mission statement

Partnering with parents in equipping children in God’s Word and for living a life committed to Jesus Christ.

During these interesting times we are in as a church, our children’s ministries looks a bit different. In place of gathering together for weekly Sunday School and BSK (Bible Study Kids), we are providing our families resources to disciple their children from home, as well as connecting via social media. Please reference our “Resources for the Family” section for current Children’s Ministries information. And we hope you’ll also follow us on Instagram and Facebook!

Psalm 78:4

We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of His power and the mighty miracles He did.

Psalm 23

Found: Psalm 23 is a great book to read with your young children as we go through the Psalm 23 study on RightNow Media together as a church!

Coloring Pages

Be Still My Soul
This is My Father’s World
‘Tis So Sweet
It is Well with My Soul
And more…
These downloadable coloring pages are a good way for your children to pass the time while reflecting on truths about God. If you want to have them brighten other people’s days, you can put them up in your windows for your neighbors to see or you can contact Heather Jensen (HJensen@trinitycc.com) to see how you can send them to our congregants who are at higher-risk during this time.

RightNow Media

Trinity has a subscription to RightNow Media which is a wonderful resource for Bible studies as well as movies for you and your children. If you do not have an account, click here! Questions? Email connect@trinitycc.com.

Tutor List

We have developed a Tutor List for you during this time of unexpected at-home learning. The tutoring would all be done over Facetime or services such as Zoom for the safety of your family and the tutors! If you have any questions, email Margaret at MBowlin@trinitycc.com.

Vacation Bible School
July 20-23, 2020

Mark your calendar for our VBS dates of July 20-23, 2020. We are planning and preparing in hopes of being able to safely gather together again by the end of July. However, we will make the necessary adjustments as we learn more. The health of our servant volunteers and students is our first priority. Because of this, VBS will look a little different this year, and we are excited about the fresh air and fresh experience kids will enjoy at the BBC (Backyard Bible Clubs). Stay tuned – more details to come!

Sunday School Curriculum

Our curriculum is The Gospel Story for Kids, which is chronological, gospel-centered, and teaches the Word of God in an engaging manner. There are two opportunities for family follow up: Sword Bible Memory (each month’s memory verses) and the companion family devotionals (Old Story New – New Testament, and Long Story Short – Old Testament). Each week, kids preschool-6th grade learn from the same passage of Scripture each service, giving families one Bible lesson to follow up on.

for your little ones

Nursery Ministries

We provide a loving, clean environment for your precious little ones. You’ll find us near the west end of the Worship Center Lobby. Our Infant Care Room (located around the corner from the Nursery) is available to help you remain connected to the worship service while you comfort your baby in private.

Midweek Children’s Program

Bible Study Kids

BSK is a Bible Study where kids learn from the same book of the Bible their parents are studying in Brother-to-Brother (B2B) and Sister-to-Sister (S2S). BSK includes singing songs of worship, memorizing scripture, and having fun while doing it! This Spring, we are learning about 1 and 2 Samuel.

BSK meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for nursery-4th grade (dinner provided at 6:00 p.m.) and Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for nursery-preschool and homeschool. Our 5th-6th graders attend Thrive on Wednesday nights.

Questions? Contact Rachael Lenz.

5th and 6th grade

Thrive meets on on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Rm. 117 in the Worship Center.  5th and 6th graders have the opportunity to “thrive” as they have fun building relationships and digging into God’s Word at their own youth group.

Please email Margaret at MBowlin@trinitycc.com to request to be added to our Thrive email list in order to receive event details.
