Mission statement

Partnering with parents in equipping children in God’s Word and for living a life committed to Jesus Christ.

Children TK/Kinder – 6th grade are invited to join us for outside Sunday School at 8:00 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. on the Children’s Playground. For those of you still worshiping from home, the story and coloring page from the Gospel Story Bible are available in our weekly Trinity Kids Happenings emails. We hope you’ll also follow us on Instagram and Facebook!

Psalm 78:4

We will not hide these truths from our children but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of His power and the mighty miracles He did.

For Your Kids

Sunday School

Sunday School is available at 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Children kindergarten – 4th grade gather in the same space outside and are checked in and out together by family. We encourage you to watch this brief instructional video and show it to your kids so you know the process and locations for checking your child in and out of Sunday School. Click Here for an important update on 5th/6th graders!

Preschoolers will be meeting indoors in the Preschool Room. In order to comply with the California Department of Health room capacity guidelines, we are asking parents to register their Preschooler in advance. This registration form will become live on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Click here to register! On Sunday, parents can then check in their Preschooler (as well as Infant/Toddler) indoors in the hallway outside the Nursery. For families attending 8:00 a.m. worship, we request that parents pick up their child no later than 9:10 a.m. in order to allow time to sanitize the space before our next group of Preschoolers arrives.

Sunday School Curriculum

Our curriculum is The Gospel Story for Kids, which is chronological, gospel-centered, and teaches the Word of God in an engaging manner. There are two opportunities for family follow up: Sword Bible Memory (each month’s memory verses) and the companion family devotionals (Old Story New – New Testament, and Long Story Short – Old Testament). Each week, kids preschool-6th grade learn from the same passage of Scripture each service, giving families one Bible lesson to follow up on.

Special Needs

Heart of Jesus

Our desire is to make it possible for all families to worship at Trinity as part of the Body of Christ. Our model and goal is to integrate children with disability into our Sunday School classes whenever possible with a one-on-one, trained, background-checked “friend.” Our mission is to teach God’s Word to every child with the love of Jesus in whatever way is optimum for each child.

Please text Jan Joaquin at 930-9058 before first visit if possible or with any questions.

Midweek

Bible Study Kids

BSK is a Bible Study where kids learn from the same book of the Bible their parents are studying in Brother-to-Brother (B2B) and Sister-to-Sister (S2S). BSK includes singing songs of worship, memorizing scripture, and having fun while doing it!

This Fall, children are learning what it means to be “Rooted in God’s Love” from Colossians on Thursday mornings (9:00-11:00 a.m.).

5th and 6th grade

Thrive

5th and 6th graders have the opportunity to “thrive” as they have fun building relationships and digging into God’s Word at their own youth group. Thrive is currently gathering weekly alongside the Sister-to-Sister Bible study as we go through the book of Colossians as a church! We are meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your Bibles!

Please email Daniel at DFrost@trinitycc.com to request to be added to our Thrive email list in order to receive event details.
