Annual Congregagional Meeting

Our annual Congregational Meeting was Sunday, January 25, at 12:30 p.m. The meeting included a report from our Building Committee, and a vote on the nomination of the following names submitted to serve as Deacons. All nominations were agreed to by unanimous congregational vote.

The agenda will include a report from our Nominating Committee, with the following names being submitted to serve as Deacons:
Steve Asadoor, Dan Avram, Susan Blackburn, Kim Debban, Geoff Essells, Dominick Foster, Scott Griffin, Terri Griffin, Carolyn Halajian, Bob Herrick, Jake Sazonov

As Elders:
John Blackburn, Peter Fear, Stan Ratzlaff.

The meeting also included a unanimous congregational vote on a proposed change to our bylaws.:

ARTICLE X

ELECTION OF NON-STAFF ELDERS

Election

Section 10.1: The non-staff Elders shall be elected by the Congregation at its annual meeting and shall assume office beginning on June 1st of that year pending examination and approval by the Council of Elders. 

Section 10.1 (revised): The non-staff Elders shall be elected by the Congregation at its annual meeting and shall assume office beginning on March 1st of that year pending examination and approval by the Council of Elders.

ARTICLE XI

ELECTION OF DEACONS

Election

Section 11.1: The Deacons shall be elected by the Congregation at its annual meeting and shall assume office on June 1st of that year.
