Trip Itinerary
February 2: Travel from LAX to Rome

February 23-25: Stand in the heart of the ancient empire where Christianity transformed the world. Explore the historic Catacombs of St. Sebastian, an extensive underground burial network associated with countless early Christians who remained faithful to Christ in the face of persecution. Tour the magnificent Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, walk the ancient streets of the Roman Forum, and behold the imposing Colosseum, a powerful reminder of both Rome’s glory and the cost of Christian witness in the first centuries of the church.

February 26-27: Travel to northern Greece and visit the region where the Apostle Paul established some of the earliest churches in Europe. Explore Thessaloniki, home of the believers addressed in Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians. Visit ancient Philippi, where Paul preached the Gospel, where Lydia became the first recorded convert in Europe, and where Paul and Silas were imprisoned before God miraculously opened the prison doors (Acts 16). See nearby Neapolis, the port through which Paul first entered Europe during his second missionary journey.

February 28-March 2: Journey through some of the most influential cities of the ancient world. Visit Delphi, the renowned center of Greek religion and culture. In Athens, stand atop Mars Hill where Paul proclaimed the risen Christ to the philosophers of the Areopagus (Acts 17). Explore the Acropolis and other landmarks that shaped Western civilization. Continue to ancient Corinth, where Paul ministered for eighteen months, preached the Gospel, and established a thriving church that would later receive two of his New Testament epistles.

March 3: Travel from Athens to LAX.
