The Light Before Christmas – For Families

This Advent season, we are offering a new 4-week family devotional that follows along with our Sunday School lessons. Best-selling author Marty Machowski wrote The Light Before Christmas, using the theme of light and darkness to tell the story of eleven-year-old Mia and her blind grandmother as she explains the light of Jesus shining bright to Mia.

The Light Before Christmas contains thirteen devotions—three for each of the four weeks of Advent and one more for Christmas Day. Each devotion includes a Scripture for the day, an object lesson, a focus Scripture, a question to discuss as a family, a song to sing together, and a prayer.

Devotionals are available for $10 at Children’s Check-Out. Christmas titles will also be available on the Resource Wall in the Check-Out hallway.
