Trinity Women’s Ministries

“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”

(Ephesians 3:17-19)

Midweek Bible Study

Sister-to-Sister Bible Study (S2S)

The Book of Galatians is one of the Apostle Paul’s most impassioned and eloquent letters.  It warns Christians of the dangers of both legalism and lawlessness, calling believers to live Gospel-shaped lives.  This study walks the learner through the promises, warnings, and Gospel declarations found in Galatians.  Both basic and theologically robust, this study will help believers find freedom in their identity as God’s adopted and beloved children.

Sister-to-Sister is a weekly Bible study that meets every Thursday, beginning September 12 at 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to join our study as part of Bible Study Kids, a comprehensive children’s program for both the morning and evening studies.  A home-school room is offered during our Thursday morning program. For more information on Bible Study Kids, contact Rachael Lenz.

To register, stop by the Women’s Ministry table on Sunday following the worship celebrations, or visit the Information Table at S2S on Thursday mornings (9:00 a.m.) or Thursday evenings (6:30 p.m.).

For more information, contact Jeanette Saxton or Jaimi Fong.

Trinity Women’s Retreat

Identity theft. Chances are you’ve been the victim of this crime in some way or another, either directly, or through massive data breaches which have compromised personal information. But even if you’ve escaped having your physical identity stolen, the fact is that we have all been victims of spiritual identity theft. We live in a world where thieves are constantly trying to steal our true identity. It is time to fight back! God offers the most comprehensive identity protection plan: His Word. Please plan on joining us this fall as we journey through the book of Colossians and reclaim the truth of who we are in Christ.

Our bi-annual women’s retreats provide a much-needed opportunity for refreshment and connection with the Lord and each other in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, free from many of the distractions of life. Retreats typically run from Friday through Sunday every odd calendar year.

Our next retreat will be held November 1-3, 2019 at ECCO (Episcopal Conference Center of Oakhurst), located approximately 4 miles north of Oakhurst.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Opportunities to Serve

Stitched Together

“We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Stitched Together is a group of women of all ages who desire to use their sewing, stitching, and knitting gifts to create items of comfort and help for the hurting and lonely. Their ministry of love extends from our church, to our community, and, in partnership with Joni and Friends, to the world. Whether knitting chemo hats, scarves and blankets for those suffering in our community, or sewing backpacks and safety straps for wheelchairs being sent around the world by Joni and Friends, this group’s purpose is to spread the love of Christ through what they create. There is no experience necessary to participate in Stitched Together, all are welcome! Stitched Together meets on the third Friday of each month (September-May) at 10:00 am in the Upper Room.

Encouraging Each Other

CrossRoads is a support group that offers encouragement and hope to women struggling with body image and eating issues. No matter how many times you have tried and failed, there really is a way through the struggle. God is not silent on the issue. His Word offers hope, and that hope is the basis of CrossRoads.
