“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus… I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in His own time.” (I Timothy 6:11-15a)
Brother to Brother Bible Studies
FAITH THAT WORKS: The Book of James
Join us beginning in mid-September as we continue our journey through God’s Word into the book of James. James has been called “The Proverbs of the New Testament” because of its practical wisdom on how to “do life” with God. If you have ever struggled with trials and temptations, faith, favoritism, your tongue, pride, quarrels, slander, prayer, and how to be patient in suffering, this study is for you! James confronts each of these issues head-on in this power-packed letter to believers.
If you want to know God in a deeper and more intimate way, but battle discouragement, feeling that you will never live up to God’s standards, please plan on joining us for this important study which offers wisdom and hope for every believer.
Brother-to-Brother is a weekly men’s Bible study that meets on Wednesday evenings, beginning September 12. Join us at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and a time of fellowship, followed by worship led by our Men’s Ministry Worship Team and messages from our Bible teachers. This study also includes small group discussion and prayer, concluding by 8:30 pm. Click the link below to pre-register online for the Fall 2018 semester and take this opportunity to invite a friend or family member to join us!
