Community Groups (May 10-June 20)
An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until June 20, 2021
When we read about the Church in its early days, we see brothers and sisters who loved to gather. This is beautifully highlighted in Acts 2:42, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” We know that many in our Trinity family desire to see this type of community in their lives, beyond what is experienced on Sunday morning.
With this in mind, we are offering our Spring Community Groups. These groups will meet in homes for six weeks and may include fellowship with snacks, meals, and/or desserts, based upon each group’s desire. We believe these groups will be a blessing to all who choose to participate.
Along with fellowship, a time each evening will be spent watching a brief video presentation by R. C. Sproul from his series titled “The Holiness of God.” This series examines the meaning of holiness and closely explores God’s character, leading to new insights on sin, justice, and grace. The result will be a new awareness of our dependence upon God’s mercy and a discovery of the awesomeness of His majestic holiness. Dr. R.C. Sproul says, “The holiness of God affects every aspect of our lives — economics, politics, athletics, romance — everything with which we are involved.” After the video, groups will spend some time discussing key points.
